Commercial hydro jetting in Los Angeles

Hydro jetting sends water at very high pressure through a nozzle that cleans the inside of the pipe in every direction. It removes what a cable leaves behind: grease, soap scum, sediment and root fibers on the pipe wall.

When jetting beats snaking

Use a cable when a line is blocked by something soft and one-off. Use jetting when a line clogs repeatedly, when grease has built up over months, or when roots and sediment keep narrowing the pipe. Restaurants, food production, hotels and industrial plants are the usual jetting customers because grease or sediment is a daily input.

Old pipe, big buildings

Downtown Los Angeles, the Fashion District and the Arts District mix 1920s-era warehouses, converted lofts and new towers on very different plumbing. Where the building history is unclear we scope the line before any pressure goes in, because jetting a damaged pipe makes things worse.

Keeping kitchens in good standing

Cities and sewer agencies across Los Angeles County run programs that limit fats, oils and grease from food service establishments. Being able to show that your lines and interceptors are cleaned on a schedule is the easy way to stay on the right side of them. Ask your city or sewer agency which rules apply to your address.

Signs it is time to call

  • The same line has been snaked more than once this year
  • Grease builds up in kitchen or interceptor lines
  • Floor drains smell or drain slowly
  • Roots or sediment keep returning
  • Wash-down water backs up in an industrial building

What happens when you call

  1. Camera scope of the line to find the blockage and check pipe condition.
  2. High-pressure jetting from the cleanout, working toward the main.
  3. Flow check and a short written summary, with a recommended jetting interval.

Questions

Do you have a Los Angeles office?

No. The contractor behind this site is based in Anaheim and serves Los Angeles County from there.

Is hydro jetting safe for older pipes?

Often, but not always. We scope first, because a cracked or collapsed pipe should be repaired, not pressure-washed.

Do you offer emergency jetting?

Send a request with the address and choose the emergency option. We will tell you honestly how quickly a crew can reach it.
